COPY and PASTE between PR and AE is broken

Since the very latest upgrade COPY and Paste between apss is broken. I can't even copy text to rename layers. I used to copy layers, footage, etc etc but nothing seems to be working anymore. Why would this all of the sudden become an issue?

What is the version of the After Effects your using as of now...the After effects 18.4.1 has the bug fix for the 

"Fixed an issue that prevented pasting into text layers from other applications". check the following link - https://helpx.adobe.com/after-effects/user-guide.html/after-effects/kb/fixed-issues.ug.html
