Copy and paste text from Word does not work

Has anyone run into the issue of simply trying to copy and paste text from Word into After Effects 18.4? It worked fine in the prvious version.

I did go back to an earlier version. Oddly enough the newer version works today, slower than it should, but it works.

Hi B McG,

The bug only happens if you launch After Effects by double-clicking a project file. If you open After Effects by clicking its icon, it works fine.
