Could not launch Adobe Analysis Server 515 - AE 2023 Mac

Mac Studio 2023 Apple M2 Ultra 192GB ram Mac OS Ventura 13.5 running AE2023 23.6

Getting this error when trying to run camera tracker.

First error is "Unkown Exception"

followed by "After Effects error: Could not launch Adobe Analysis Server. (515) ( 25 :: 101 )

I've seen this posted before but on older versions of AE. Most solutions reference steps to take on a PC, not on a mac.  Other solutions also seem to indicate virus software, of which I do not have.

Based on previous errors with camera tracking and "dynamic link" I'm guessing this has something to do with a plugin, but hard to pinpoint that.  Hopeful for any other feedback or ideas.

I solved the issue: I went to AE Settings/Startup & Repair >> Refeal Preferences in Finder. I moved the .pref and txt Files to Desktop and deleted the ones in the preference folder. When I started AE I did not migrate from previous versions. This solved the issue. (If i did migrate from previous AE Versions the issue presited). Thanks

Anyone have any other fixes for this? I still can't get it to work, and have tried everything else in the comments 😕😕 I try to Enable 3D Tracker and my AE just crashes

I'm using an M1 Max running After Effects 2024 v24.5, I've gave AE specific permission on my firewall, I've reinstalled the program, restarted my computer, reset my preferences, disabled all my plug-ins, everything!!

Go into the Effect Manager inside AE (Effects Menu -> Manage Effects) and disable all third-party effects in that dialog. Restart AE and then try the camera tracking again.

Hi, this didn't work 😞 I don't have any third-party effects installed to disable. Any other ideas I could try?

An easier way to do this is by resetting the preferences. Here's how: https://adobe.ly/4nyuNDa

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

@Cyril24004654136l make sure you're going to the root of your hard drive to the /Library folder, not the one inside your users directory.

Tried the same footage that that errored out on the M1 on a Windows 11 box, and AE 2024 successfully tracked it. Maybe this is a GPU/Metal issue--the PC has 2x3090s I think

Having the same issue here unable to camera solve footage and throwing this error. M1 Macbook, running OSX 13.6.2 and latest build of AE as of today. Have installed/uninstalled plugins, disabled plugins, would rather avoid derailing my day futher by uninstall/reinstall. Any updates?
