Crashes when using AE in a datacenter VM.

Hey, I'm currently trying to use After Effects along with some plugins within a cloud based virtual machine running Windows Server 2022, which includes an Nvidia Tesla T4. Replicated the environment of my local machine into this VM, installed the required drivers. However, some of the plugins seem to not be working correctly and/or causing crashes when opening project files that use them. I've double checked the versions of plugins and AE on my local setup to confirm that it isn't a version mismatch between AE and plugins.

I suspect that there's some other configuration to be done within AE to have it work on this environment, any help is appreciated.

First off: This is a completely unsupported configuration and you pretty much have to figure out things on your own. All we can do is nudge you to check soem things. most likely you are simply seeing hardware acceleration issues with your Tesla and the VM layer isn't gonna help much. These computing cards simply work different from regular GPUs as AE would expect them. That being the case, you probably will need to spend time in your NVidia panel. You haven't provided any that info, but it would be interesting to see how it actualyl registers in AE or Premiere and take it from there. Also for specific third-party plug-ins you may need to look into their configuration tools and license managers. Sapphire has had its own GPU code for a decade and so do BorisFX, Red Giant, Trapcode totally unrelated to AE. It's perfectly possible that they cannot initiate some of their functions and thus crash the projects. Again, none of this is official in any capacity, just some tips.
