Crashing As Soon As I Open After Effects

Yesterday I was working on a project and all of a sudden AE crashed. I've never had major AE crashing issues before. I updated AE and my operating system, but it didn't help.  My project stays open for about 5 seconds before AE crashes every time I try to access it.

Try to import this project in a new project, and check if this can help you

Sorry for your issue.

Is it happening while opening a particular project or any project you open? In which version of After Effects this project was created and what's the version of After Effects you're using? Also, what are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS)?

Manually empty out the cache folders. also open the project with capslock enabled to suppress rendering and refresh, then check for any obvious issues if possible like broken footage references and such.
