Hi,

I am getting an error when trying to open After effects 2024 v24.6.6.

Last log message was: <135947333> <AppDirs> <5> Required Dir =
/Applications/Adobe After Effects 2024/Adobe After Effects 2024.app/Contents/Required

I have tried booting in safe mode, resetting preferences and disabling plugins and each time AE crashes.

Currently running 2023 Mac studio M2 Max Sonoma 14.7.2.

I have also cleared all cache files for adobe, rebooting, uninstalled and re-installed application.

Hi Kevin,
we have a font server (monotype) and for some reason there was a font that was causing issues upon start up. I have since removed that font and reset my prefrences and I appear to be up and running agian.

A rogue font is a new one for me.
