Crashing on startup (AE 2020 17.5)

Hello. After Effects keep crashing most of the time I boot up the program. Sometimes I can get it to work but it fails the majority of the time. It either says "not responding" on the task manager or it comes up with a crash report window inevitably closing, not even letting me get into it. Hypothetically, I could keep trying to open it up until it works but obviously, that's not ideal. I've tried clearing the media cache, uninstalling and reinstalling, using prior versions, running as administrator, taking out third-party plugins and removing preferences. Other Adobe programs have been doing this too but to a lesser extent. I'm using the latest 17.5 and was working just fine not long ago.
