Creating one animation over different screen sizes

Hey guys,

I couldn't find any google tutorials regarding this, if you have anything please link or advise.

I need to make some animations, lets say particle animations that will animate over a few screens with different sizes.

For example: The middle screen is 896 x 768 pixels and the two screens, one on the left and one on the right are 1280 x 640. As you can see, the middle screen is not the same height as the other screens.

How do I create an animation that will animated over these 3 screens.

For example: I create a particle animation that starts in the middle screen and it blooms out to the left and right screens

I don't know how to set up a composition in AE for this type of animation.

Thanks!

    Correct answer imeilfx

    If you have 2x 1280x640 and one 896x768px in the middle you have to make composition that have 3072 x 768.
    But more important question is to ask yourselve - how do you deliver that video to those screens. Would that be 3 separate videos sended to 3 separate outputs or maby that will be one video clip mapped accordingly to your screens. Only that knowledge will give you answer on how you should make final renders and with what settings.
    More on pixel maps and non standard resolution outputs you can find on one of our previous discutions: Exporting large files in AE

    Thankyou! That is very helpful!

    Followup questions and statements;
    1 - I will ask if they will send it via one whole video or three separate videos

    2 - If its 3 separate videos and I create a 3072 x 768 comp, how will I split this comp up into three separate videos with the right dimension

    3 - If point 2 cannot be done, and they want it over 3 different videos, I will create 2 x 1280x640 comps and one 896x768 comp but when I create my animation, cause it's three separate comps, how do I create an animation that will spread across all three comps?

    Just ask about specs of files that they need (with codec and format information).

    As for 3 separate videos you have to create your main comp (3x screen resolution) and prepare all animations inside of it. Then jus splitt (precomp) your main comp into 3 compositions with exact dimmensions for separate screens and fit/position your main comp in them accordingly. And then render those separate comps.
