Question

Ctrl+ENTER to validate expression

Hi, I've recently buy a laptop for work which has a numpad but unfortunatelly no numpad enter key.

The problem is, when working with expressions, I'm used to end expression edition with numpad enter ( I know you can click out of the expression paragraph, but I just find it easier ).

So I thought I might just validate my expression by hitting ctrl+enter, like in the text edition tool, but it is not working.

I was wondering if it is possible to include this simple feature in the near future?

Thank you for reading me.

Try the Function key + Enter.

Thank you, I've tried it but it is not working regrettably. 😞

Is pressing Escape not working?

Hi! Unfortunatly pressing esc doesn't work (it is escaping the expression edit mode, but does not validate the text you entered)

I do agree with you , using the enter on the numpad is more easier

but i never encounter a laptop with a numpad without enter ! which brand is it ?

Hi! It is a Recoil 17" from PC Specialist. Yes, I agree, it is pretty unusual 🙂
