cursor issue

hi! my cursor isn't lined up with my layers, does anyone know how to fix this or why it's doing this? i've closed after effects multiple times and have restarted my laptop but nothing is working

Without any info about your settings for comp framerates, footage interpretation and possibly motion blur preview as well time-remapping/ time-stretching we can't tell you much. That of course is in and of itself kind of the answer - you need to check those things to ensure frames properly line up if you so desire.
