Dark mode not consistant on macOS

I recently started using After Effects, and one of the first things I noticed when I was doing so was that the menu bar and when exporting the menus were not the consistant dark theme, I'm not sure if this is a bug but I have not found any settings in the preferences that fix this. I am on a 2020 MBP with an M1 and have 16 MB memory.

Perfectly normal. AE has forever used its own UI code and these things are slow to adapt. If it fully supported dark mode(s), it would be stated in the release notes as an marketable feature. Since it isn't,... well, you get the idea. Just get used to it. This could take several versions to be fully implemented, if at all.
