So I'm thinking of getting a new computer, and I was hoping the specs would run the latest version of After Effects, could someone please tell me if the latest version of After Effects would run nicely on these specs?

2.1GHz AMD Ryzen 5 3500U Quad Core Processor
8GB DDR4 Memory
512GB SSD Storage
Radeon Vega 8 Graphics
Wireless: 802.11ac + Bluetooth
OS: Windows 10 Home
Ports & Connections: 1 x USB Type-C USB 3.1 Gen 1
Ports & Connections: 2 x USB 3.1 Gen 1
Ports & Connections: 1 x USB 2.0
Ports & Connections: 1 x HDMI
Dimension: 323mm (W) x 228mm (D) x 17.95mm (H)
14 inch FHD Display (1920x1080)

Here they are.

In addition to what Andrew says I would add or more size to the SSD or an additional HDD for storage because the 512 GB SSD will soon be short of you.

I'm sure this machine would run After Effects to a point, but 8GB of RAM is the absolute bare minimum.  You should really have at least 16GB, and preferably more, to run After Effects without frustration.

I can't even comprehend using After Effects on a 14 inch display at 1920x1080.  Hopefully you have an additional external monitor to use most of the time.

Sorry if that sounds unhelpful, but these are very low specs for After Effects - the bare minimum. I wouldn't expect AE to run "nicely" on this hardware, but it will run.
