default composition active camera messed up

In my After Effects Project File, in 1 specific composition the default composition camera (so NOT a camera layer) seems to be messed up. Whenever I make a regular layer a 3D layer, the layer changes in size (maybe depth).

Does anyone know how to reset the active camera? View -> Reset 3D View doesn't solve this issue...

The reset feature is in the Composition Panel. You need to create a 3D layer on the latest After Effects versions, go to the View menu, and select View/Reset Default Camera. 

 

That workflow is a lot easier than trying to right-click and find the view options.
