Displacement Map Error

Hi!

So I'm working with the Displacement Map effect on an Adjustment Layer. I'm using a precomp with shapes in black and white as a map based on its luminance. I work in 3840x3840px and 32bpc, but there's an error in the diagonal shapes, like if it was in low resolution (see image attached).

Could someone explain to me what is this happening and how I can solve it?

Thanks in advance,

Are you even viewing this at 100%? Doesn't look like it, so that is not realyl useful. That aside your approach seems unsuitable. Of course harsh contrasts will laways produce some aliasing. that's simply how displacments work. The work best when the transition has some softness. If you want to generate actual sharply delineated shapes build them with shape layers and animate their parameters. If you provide an actual explanation of what you are trying to do I'm sure we can advise, but the way you're doing it now is not going to produce perfect results one way or the other.
