DNxHR 12 bit 444 Renders Black at Full Resolution

My workflow is

Alexa 12bit 4444 ProRes - Edit in Resolve - Render out as DNxHR 12bit 444 - VFX in After Effects.

I'm on a PC so no Resolve ProRes option.

My issue is After Effects displays a black screen if I set resolution to Full. Setting resolution to anything below (half etc) shows the footage and playback is fine.

Id also appreciate feedback on whether this is a good codec to use and guidance on another codec.

It is a good codec to work. What you can try to is:

- In After Effects go to File > Project Settings > Video Rendering and Effects tab. Deactivate the Mercury GPU Acceleration to test if this option lets you to view your full res DNX clips.

- Try to update your graphics crd driver to the latest version.

- Try to render from Resolve in GoPro Cineform 12 bit codec.

Thanks.

I ended up exporting out a 12bit DPX sequence from Resolve which worked well with After Effects.
