Does 15.1.1 fix constant crash?

Hello fellows,

have you already installed this version? Does it fix the constant crashes of the previous version? (15.1)

Actually I had to re-install the 15.0 version to be able to work.

Resetting prefs did the trick for me though.

No, it doesn't. it does nothing, rien, nichts, nada. Can't use Ae since the last bloody update.

    You are right, nothing changed. I'm still stuck on 15.0

    AE 15.1.1 crashes at all launches. How does one move back to 15.0?

    Uninstall the current installed version after that choose the version you would install from the drop down menu as shown in the attached screenshot ;-)

    Just chatted with Adobe Support. For me the solution was to reset the preferences for AE. It hadn´t read/write rights to the folders/app.

    Yes it does:

    Bugs fixed in April 2018 releases of After Effects (versions 15.1 and 15.1.1)

      Yep, unfortunately! This patch fixed the crashes opening projects, but it is still unstable and honestly unusable.

      I moved back again to 15.0
