Hi guys,

i installed after effects 2 weeks ago.

And I wanted to install some plug ins but there is one problem.

I don't have the file support files.

I watched YouTube videos how to install plugins and you need the file support files but I don't have it.

Why and how can I install plugins?

This is very unlikely, because AE itself won't run if those folder and the files in it wouldn't be there.

I think you are just not on the correct path.

  • (Windows) Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects <version>\Support Files

  • (Mac OS) Applications/Adobe After Effects <version>

Hope this helps!

Here is only "user presets" "user libraries" and "video libraries"?
