I have the license for after effects and its the student kind so its a $14.99 subscription. I was charged the $14.99 then later $30.00? i'm so confused.

Nobody can do anything for you here. You need to contact customer support. Go to your main account page navigate to manage subscription and scroll down to "contact us" with the little icon of the headset.
