Double Clicking a comp in the timeline doesn't work

Hello,
I observe strange behavior in After Effects. If I click on a composition on the timeline, it doesn't open, but if I select two or more compositions, they open. What could be the reason for this?

Application: After Effects v23.6.0.62
OS: Windows v10.0.19045, RAM: 63,92 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 20

Sorry, I made it available at the link. Anyway, the problem was solved when I reset the default settings

The video appears to be private so I can't see it. I also just tried double-clicking a comp inside a comp and it opened for me.

Even though in After Effects v22 everything works fine.
