Dripping animation question

I have the composition below, with the drops from the pump dripping just how I'd like them. I need the grid (made up of 5 different strokes) to fill in from the point where the drops are hitting it. I tried trim paths, but I need them to go in two directions and trim paths doesn't seem to be able to do that.

I figured it out. Duplicated all the shapes and animated one of the trim paths "end" and the other the trim path "start" and it worked perfectly
