Drop Shadow FX: Opacity slider lagging

while mouse over the Opacity slot and drag the value, it’s lagging. Compared to the other slider in this FX, for eG the Direction or Softness, it’s stuttering

Hey, thanks for reporting this! I tested the Drop Shadow opacity control on my end but didn’t notice any lag.

Could you share your system specs (CPU, RAM, and GPU), the full AE version including the build number, and a short screen recording showing the stuttering? Also, does it happen in a new project with just a solid and Drop Shadow applied?

Thanks for sharing the specs and recording! I can see the stuttering when you drag the Opacity value, and thanks for checking in a new project too.

Could you try the same test in Safe Mode with third-party plug-ins disabled? Here’s how to do that. Let us know if it still happens, and please share your NVIDIA driver version too.
