dropdown menu in tools panel not working

i can't dropdown the inner drop down menus in tool panel. Like for example when i need to change the shape the dropdown menu for shape doesn't appear.

I'm using the latest version of after effects cc 2021. And I'm not using mac i windows 10

This is apparently a bug where these dropdowns don't render correctly under some conditions. Start by chceking your UI hardware acceleration settings and turn it off to test. Beyond that the usual applies: Updating the graphics driver may fix it.
