Dynamic Link between AE and PPro Severed on AE Save

Hey all,

I'm having this weird behavior with my AE -> Premiere dyanmic link.  Works fine with newly created files.  However, if I copy both project files to a new location, I'm getting some weird behavior.  Every time I make changes in AE and save, the dynamic link in Premiere is lost and all the round tripped comps go "offline."  Has anyone had this issue? 

I'm on AE 17.6.0 and Premiere 14.8.0.  The issue occurs when both programs are open and the project files are loaded but not when Premiere is closed or the project file not open.  So, it appears to be related to active dynamic links.

Anyone have this issue?  Thoughts?
