Edges from Layer unerneath showing when using Track Matte

Question

Hey, I was just creating an Animation and have a Track Matte Layer masking a Color.

When I have multiple Layers active at the same time, the Layer underneath is still visible on the edges of the Layer above:

(Edges from white Layer underneath visible through blue Layer above)

Is there any way to fix this? I've already tried Simple Choker to make the area wider and cover the edges, but I'd have to apply the Choker to every single Layer to make them match up and I think that's a bit too messy.

Hello, thank you for the answer!Yup, I should have definitely attached and showed more than a single cropped screenshot, sorry about that!But I've found the answer I was looking for; There were no actual edges bleeding through, it was just being previewed that way in AE. When exporting, there were no errors visible at all!

Without seeing your complete comp and understanding how you created the track matte I have no idea what may be wrong with your workflow. The only thing I can say for sure is that the matte was not properly created. If the Track Matte layer is being used as a luma matte then solo the layer and turn on Background Transparency to check for holes in the black or white part of the layer. If the layer is used as an alpha matte, solo the layer, turn on Background Transparency and look for problems.

For future reference, cropped screenshots that do not show us the modified properties of the problem layers are useless for diagnosing problems. Troubleshooting problems start with looking for modified properties on layers (press 'uu'), turning effects on and off in the timeline or ECP, and soloing layers with Background Transparency turned on. It should not take you too long to find the problem layer. It's probably the track matte.
