Hi everyone, I have a project with transition effects and all videos made with a drone: I get 3 errors only on one video (I am attaching them to you). I searched the web and saw that it has already happened to someone, but I didn't find the solution: could you help me?

- AE version: 23.6.0 (Build 62)

- Mac mini with Apple M1, OS Ventura 13.5.1 (22G90)

Thank you,

Walter

Your first uploaded screenshot suggests that one of the layers has an effect on it, like Grow Bounds, that has exceeded the maximum width and height of a layer in After Effects. The other screenshots of the error messages don't tell us anything about your comp.

It's a lot easier to see your screenshots if you use the Toolbar or copy and paste them to the reply field so you can see them when you are writing the post. Send us a screenshot of the entire UI. Make sure that you select the problem layer and press the U key twice so we can see all of the modified properties of that layer.

Hello and thanks for the reply. My main composition looks like this:

As you can see there are a number of layers below (with the drone videos) and above the layers with the transition effects. There are 3 of these and they are used in rotation: the one that causes problems is Transition C, but only when used for the transition of #drone shot 7. The other times it is instantiated there are no problems. For now I've solved it by throwing away both it and the effect, but it's very strange, I haven't changed anything: Transition C is always the same.

Many thanks

I don't know what is going on in the 2 second transition comps. If they are all different, you need to dive into the nested comp that is causing the problem.

I also have no idea what is going on in the Drone comps.

There are no adjustment layers or blend modes or effects applied to all of the nested comps I can see. I think you would be better off just rendering the transitions, then doing the final edit in Premiere Pro. I almost never have more than one shot in a single AE comp vecause AE is not a video editing app.
