effects and presets search bar

so in after effects, when i am editing and i go to the effects and presets search bar and i search something up, nothing ever shows up. say i needed to add motion tile to my clip, i search it up in the effects and presets search bar, but it says no reasults found, and in order to add it i have to go into to effects, stylize, the motion title. it takes up alot of time this way, so how do i reset it so that i can just search up the effect in the search bar? thank you.
