Element 3D reflection fade
Anyone know how to make a mirror floor reflection fade off? So we only see maybe half the object as the reflection fades/blurs away?

I think you might be stuck "faking it" using something like Andrew Kramer's Reflection plug-in
https://www.videocopilot.net/tutorials/reflection_plug-in/
It's doing the job that @Kevin-Monahan outlined. In Element, while you can adjust the glossiness of the mirror material, (which adjusts the sharpness of the reflection), there doesn't seem to be a way to set a depth.
Video Copilot's own Star Pack ( a free download of Star Wars models ) uses a specular map on the glossiness part of the material to control reflections, but it is the surface its doing it on.
I suppose you could try faking it another way. This time with a reflected duplicate of the model and adding a black to transparent gradient on a plane in front of it.
