empty .aep file has a large size

Hello.
Could you please tell me why a completely empty AE project weighs almost 10mb?
I've already broken my head trying to find an explanation.
I need it to understand why other projects (I have more than 100 of them) have this extra weight with almost no content.
Is it a glitch, or does it depend on the version of AE, I can not understand.
I work in CC 2021.
