Enter Number of Frames to Move Playhead?

In After Effects, it is super easy to "add" the number of frames you want to travel. For example, typing "+3:00" into the time marker will have you jump forward by that amount of time. However, if I type "-3:00," I literally go to that time (three seconds before the start of my composition). Is there a way to enter how many frames I want to move backwards?

The solution is a little known AE secret – to move the Current Time Indicator back 3 seconds, you type a plus before you type the minus -
"+-300"

The plus tells AE you want to navigate in relative terms. It's a little awkward but the good thing is that it's so awkward that you'll likely remember it after using it once.  🙂
