EPS File Flickering with CC Plastic Light Direction Animated

I think I am potentially experiencing a bug, or maybe a graphics card failure. I am working in a 4k 23.976FPS comp, where I am animating an .EPS file. I have applied the CC Plastic effect and am attempting to animate the light direction. For some reason, this causes the layer to flicker on and off inconsistently. I can change the values of the light direction and it will flicker at different intervals. Is it possiblie this just an issue with the effect and .EPS files?
