Error: GPU failed to render s_shake.shake. Reverting back to CPU

Hello,

I need an answer to this problem. I'm using Sapphire shakes for my newest edit on AE and every time I play it back, I instantly get this error and it freezes to one frame. The only way to fix this is by exiting out of AE and launching it again, but even so, it still happens every time. My graphics card is a GeForce GTX 1070 Ti and my CPU is an AMD FX 8350 Eight-Core. I'm very desperate.

Launch the Sapphire configuration/ licensing tool and switch to software-only rendering or do so in one of the effects editors. Other than that of course the usual applies: Update your graphics drivers and configure them suitably.

I'm not sure if this can help you but did you try to change the render settings to software only?

The minimum required graphics card for Sapphire plugins is the GTX 1080 so probably this is your problem.
