hello ! so last summer , july 2020. i had downloaded after effects onto my 2019 macbook air . creative cloud downloaded as well , and i had used my cousins adobe account to use it for editing as i am an editor on instagram / tiktok . i did not know how to use it , nor the application itself . as a result , i deleted it without the installer , meaning i dragged the uninstaller into the trash as well as everything else tagged with ae. and deleted that . i did not delete creative cloud , or anything else though . a couple of months later , february 2021. my whole computer went corrupted as well as the whole user profile and i was not able to recover it . therefore , files and everything were completely inaccessible and unreadable and had to make a new user preference and redownload the most recent version of MacOS 11.0. i want to redownload adobe , but i am scared that since the files from creative cloud are still there , just corrupted , will cause any damage to my computer . my cousin does not have that account anymore and the creative cloud uninstaller is corrupted . please help ! i do not know what to do .
