Experiencing Issues with playback

Hi! I am currently trying to use Adobe After Effects on Dell Pavilion 5420. When I try to animate, I am unable to playback the preview. I have tried the following.

  • Restarting my machine
  • Clearing cache
  • Uninstalling and reinstalling AE
  • Updating AE
  • Updating my graphics driver
  • Changing video previews
  • Changing Audio Hardware

Please let me know if anyone knows a solution for this!

Sorry for your issue.

We'd need more details in order to troubleshoot the issue properly.

  • What are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)?
  • What's the exact version of After Effects you're using?
  • What happens exactly? Does the Playhead move but the preview doesn't update at all or does After Effects preview a few frames and keep looping them?
