Question

Export Dimensions

I am trying to export a very long and narrow resolution (24,720x96) composition for work. I read that exporting this as lossless .mov from after effects and then importing this .mov into Media Encoder would allow me to export it as H.264 with the dimensions I need.
I was able to export as an .mov with the right size but when I pull this file into Encoder it is reducing the size down to 16,384x64. Anyone have any tips by chance to help point me in the right direction to figure this out?

Starting with one of the H264 presets (like Match Source - High Bitrate),  change the Profile to “High” and the Level to 6.2 under the Video tab.  Anything above a Level of 5.1 might work, but 6.2 supports the largest number of macroblocks.

Assuming that works, you’ll want to save that as a custom preset.
