Export Stills at Timecode

Question

I am trying to devise a solution for outputting slides (still frames) from video. The frames that I want to output match a list of time codes. I already have a way to generate the list of time codes that need to be exported. Would After Effects be helpful with this? Is it possible to output frames based on timecode with a script or some other method? Thanks

Would it be an option for you to do it in Premiere Pro instead?

My (paid) extension Automation Blocks for Premiere Pro already has tools built in to export frames at markers and to export frames at equal distances.

If this is what you need, I also could create a sample script, which reads timecodes from a spreadsheet file (or how else do you want to specify the list of timecodes?) and then export the frames accordingly. I think such a script would be a great addition to our Community Library.
