Exporting mogrt template not working

I've created an animation and placed properties into Essential Graphics, like I've done numerous times in the past. When I click to Export Motion Graphics Template, I'm able to choose where to save, etc., and it looks like it runs its process (I don't get any errors), however, when I look in the location I exported to, it's not there. I do a search for the exact file name, but nothing comes up. I have also updated all of my software.

Yeah, I had the same problem, a very simpe AE project, but it could not save on the disk. Strangely enough, my colleague using the same hardware and software versions as me, was able to save the mograph template on his computer

I also ran into this issue, I do run a couple of third party motion graphics plugins within my composition. However; similarly, it is fixed if I turn off the "include video preview" option. I wonder why that is, but I would love to have that little QOL option working. I thought I'd give my twosense.

I'm facing the exact same problem, I tried to export it everywhere during 2 hours and the file is impossible to find.

Hi,

Adobe After Effects version number used to create the mogrt

- 24.5

Operating system and version number

- Windows 11 x64 Verison 23H2

Where are you exporting your mogrt to? (Local Templates Folder, a folder, cloud location, or a library)

- Local Templates Folder, a local folder, a library

If you could DM me the collected project file, it would be incredibly helpful!

Also some things to try and let me know what happened:

Does the mogrt export (with video checkbox enabled) if you send it to the Local Templates Folder?

- Yes but it says " Media offline "

That's super odd and unfortunately, I can't reproduce the issue on my computer. Can you tell me more information so I diagnose what's happening?

I'm getting the same issue. It used to work but now it doesn't. It appears to export it but when I look for the product in my library there's no sign of it.

Just decided to try random things, and when I unchecked the option to 'Include video preview' it actually saved the mogrt file. If anyone can explain why, that would be helpful.

This resolved my issues. No idea why.

Running the latest official build: 25.2.0 (Build 4) and Windows 11
