EXR 32Bit Export with Alpha leads to grey blurry edge

Hello !   

I want to export .exr sequences with embedded alpha - but the alpha is not really usable .

In 32 Bit i get an overbrigt white border -

reduced to 16 Bit It leaves me with a grey frame extent ...

A 16 Bit .png sequence causes no issues at all.

 

Any advice is highly appreciated !

I cannot reproduce your problem using any of the compression options for EXR. Tried most of them.

 

Maybe something is going on in the color correction part of your comp.

Thank you so much for your input - i have tried all possible combinations of profiles and gamma settings - without success... As a second way i tried the process on a different computer -  a  Mac - without any issues ... So the Mac will solve my problem for now - but i will also try to fix the problem on the PC also.

Have you normalized the ranges with a LUT/ profile or an effect like levels? At least it may be worth to throw on such an effect to see if it makes the issue also appear. That said, I vaguely seem to remember there was indeed a bug with this, but I was under the impression it had been fixed.
