EXR issues with import

Was able to open and work with exr the other day... after zipping the porject folder for archove, we have a few more tweaks to make, so unzipped anf now the exr sequences won't appear and get warning popup...

This popup is from a test as file to see if i can at least import a sequence into a clean blank slate... but no.
