EXR sequence Importing wrong resolution

Question

So i have a multilayerd exr sequence whose resolution is 2560x1440, now when i import the sequence into after effects its somehow changed to 1920x1080 but all the layers in it stay 1440p hencec cropping them and not working how they should, photoshop works properly and sees it as 1440p with the passes in it, so does da vinci resolve ,even more if i were to import only one exr from the sequence its seen as 1440p but as a sequence its changed to 1920x1080

Without any screenshots, a sample EXR and info on how they were generated as well as info on your system, hardware acceleration settings, footage interpretation etc. nobody can tell you anything. You need to be much, much more specific. Traditionally EXR workflows in AE simply aren't great and it has long struggled with e.g. EXRs generated from VRay directly. This may be one of those things.
