Extremly wide render comes out unuseable

I have to deliver a file in the format 24800x90, i have setup the file in AE this is working fine, i've already read that encoder is not good at rendering such large files, so i tried render queue.

When i render i get a long black bar, that's flashing a little, but nothing like my comp, my comp has images, fonts and so on. When i used encoder it atleast rendered to what i believe was 20'000px and the just had the rest black.

I've tried h.264 and quicktime, since i have to deliver in one of the two. 

Can anyone tell me how i can get it to actually properly render?
