Fade up words speed

How do I adjust the Fade Up Words preset to match the speed of words spoken if the speed is inconsistent for every word? That means some words may have appeared when they shouldn’t because they weren’t spoken yet and some words may haven’t appeared when they should.

If you expand the text layer on the timeline, then expand Animator1, you’ll see the start and end values (which has keyframes on it).  If you expand Advanced, you’ll then see a drop-down with “percentage”.   Change that to index.  And now you’ll be able to set another drop-down for words.
This means the end value will now accept keyframes based on word count, rather than overall percentage.
in the past, I’d listen to the audio and tap the * key on the numberpad to note when keywords need to appear.  Then it was quick to add keyframe’s but I’ve just published a tutorial showing how to use Premiere Pro to create a CSV caption file and bring that into After Effects and use the text animator with that.

I’m having a hard time following what you’re trying to say. Do you have a video that explains how it’s done?
