FEATURE REQUEST 3D camera tracker "size does not match composition"

Question

just a feature i noticed, if i have a piece of 4k footage in a 1080p comp, set to 50% size so that it fits, the 3D camera tracker tries to analyze a piece of footage for ages

and then waits until the end of it to notify you that it cant work if the comp is not at 100% size

just seems like something that the camera tracker could tell you at the beginning ,not the end

If you pre-compose the footage moving all attributes to the new composition, you can run camera tracker in your main comp with no problem.

Teacher request actually doesn't make any sense because the camera tracker Hass to use everything from the layer track camera, and if you scale the footage camera tracker would have to process scale before anything else. That's what pre composing posing does. You would not want other effects to be processed after scaling by default so that is why you get the warning.
