File Input Failure: PP to AE

Hello, I am at a loss.

ALL of my episodes of a series I have been editing in Premiere Pro have lost connection with all After Effects files.

All clips that have been replaced with an AE comp now say "Media offline", and when I select "Link Media" it shows the correct file right where it is supposed to be, but when I try to link it, the file says "File Import Failure" and nothing else.

This has happened to multiple files across multiple episodes... I am at a loss, please help!

    Hi C. Blake,

Are you still having problems with this issue? If so, you can contact us. Here's how: FAQ: How do I contact Adobe Support?

    Thanks,
    Kevin

What version of AE do you have?

    What version of Premiere Pro?

Can you import those AE files into new Premiere Pro projects?

I assume these are dynamically linked AE comps. If worst comes to worst, you could render the AE comps into an intermediate format (like Cineform or DNxHD) and then just import those into Premiere.
