File Name and Location Template glitch with Default preset for PNG export

I am exporting multiple single frames as PNGs and I want the file names to be just the comp name, no more.

I set 'Comp Name' which is [compName].[fileExtension] to default and deleted the other presets.

However when I add a comp to Render Queue, it defaults back to [compName]_[#####].png and when I Save Frame As > File, it defaults back to [compName] (0-00-00-00).png

I would expect it to default to [compName].png

Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

I will be batch-exporting hundreds of PNGs so I'm not looking for manual solutions.
