Finding Applied Effects

I'm working on a project that has some text effects applied to the text layers. I want to add some extra text layers but I cannot remember what text animations or effects have been applied. Is there a method for determining what effects etc have been applied?

pressing "u,u" on a layer will reveal all modified properties.

If text presets have been applied, it is hard to find out as a preset is set of regualar settings. If an effect or plug-in is used you can find in in the Effects Control Panel.
