Fixedsys font not working correctly in After Effects

I started a new project in After Effects and when I created a text layer I tried to test the Fixedsys font. Basically only with that typeface the text is automatically modified in such a way that the letters overlap each other, unable to form words. For now I have "solved" it by increasing the space between characters, but I would like to know if this also happens to any of you and if there is a solution other than the one I have given.
