Flickering Objects on Chroma

Hello, first time posting a question and new to AE, I'm editing a video using the effects of selective color, a magic bullet looks plug-in, and Keylight (1.2). The version of AE I'm using is 14.2.1.34 and my computer is running on MacOS Sierra (10.12) with a ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024 MB graphics card if that's relevant.

Anyway, the chroma keying seems to be fine most of the video but on occasion little bars of white and green flicker in and out for about one frame. They make the video look very glitchy. I figured I could probably go in and remedy the bars by hand with masks and solids, but I'd wanted to see if this was a common problem and if there were a way to fix this more efficiently.

are you by any chance rendering this shot using dynamic link? premiere->Ae or the other way around? for this kind of processing you should try rendering right from Ae, maybe to AME but not use any dynamic linked process from Premiere or to Premiere. I am asking because of the name of the movie you uploaded - "Linked Comp" suggests it's a comp that has a connection to some sort of dynamic link setup.

in short: dynamic link can cause all sorts of processing problems and if you got any heavy processing, you should render from Ae. if it's for compressed output - use Adobe Media Encoder, and if it's for editing in premiere -> render a lossless format with your preferred lossless codec.

if that's not it, try to isolate the issue as much as you can. does it happen without the MB plugin? is it related to a certain footage or composition settings?

    Thank you very much, yes it is a dynamic link. Removing the MB plugin seems to have done the trick (on at least a few that I rendered out of AE). I appreciate the help!

    you're welcome. try not to use dynamic link when processing something complicated like chroma key or 3rd party plugins. I'd think it's safe to say that if your Ae composition contains more than a simple motion graphics/lower thirds, you should render it first, and use the render in Premiere and not the a DL comp. as for the MB plugin, check that it's up to date and you might what to contact their support team. could be a bug they should know about.
