Get error message when trying to use CINEMA 4D in AE

on macbook pro: Error message AEGP Plugin CINEWARE SceneLayer: CINERENDER-connection failure Execute ( 5027 :: 12 ) in after effects

I looked for a plugin on adobe.com--nothing...

I searched the comments, says try launching AE as an administrator--I already am the administrator...

Would someone be able to kindly advise me?

Would you check the path of Cineware you have located at? Please read the article after "Working with different instances of CINEMA 4D in Cineware Effect" in the link below.
