Glitters into pearls mask

Nothing to mask here. You simply create a sparkle star in a pre-comp and place it in the parent comp. Can be easily done using a bunch of feathered masks or e.g. the Glow effect creating a cross with two instances when set to horizontal and vertical modes only, respectively. Realyl not sure what else you would need to know here. Given the nature of your graphics, there can be no automatic effect here.
