glow problem

Saber works on layer size. Your Auto-Traced layer is smaller than the comp, so the glow is limited to the layer boundaries. You have to have pixels for Saber to render the effect, so Grow Bounds or Pre-composing won't work. You can either copy the mask and paste it to a new comp-sized layer or start a mask on a new layer and use the Link/Parent column to drag a pickwhip to the original mask from the new layer mask. 

If the AutoTraced layer has been moved, scaled, or rotated, the new mask will be out of position.
